Solar Irradiance: Rated power is measured under Standard Test Conditions (STC), which assume optimal conditions: 1000W/m² of sunlight, a panel temperature of 25°C, and direct sunlight. In real conditions, sunlight intensity is often lower due to cloud cover, time of day, or geographical factors, leading to reduced output.

Temperature: Solar panels lose efficiency as their temperature rises. High temperatures cause a decrease in output power, as most panels have a negative temperature coefficient, meaning their output decreases as the temperature increases.

Angle and Orientation: If the solar panel is not positioned to directly face the sun or at the optimal angle, it will receive less sunlight, resulting in lower output.

Panel Aging: Over time, solar panels degrade, and their efficiency decreases.

Shading: Even partial shading (from trees, buildings, etc.) can significantly reduce a panel’s output, as it affects the entire panel’s performance.

It is easy to carry and suitable for off-grid adventures. The solar panels need to be folded up when not in use, which provides sufficient protection for the product. To extend the service life of the panel, ensure that the product is not exposed to external forces/impacts when not in use. The solar panel itself is made of glass and must not be dropped, pierced, bent, or sat on. These actions may break the glass and render the panel unusable.

Q4:Can 100W solar panels be connected in parallel or in series?

Yes，Luvknit solar panels can be connected in series or parallel via its interfaces.The positive connector is a male connector and the negative connector is a female connector.Connecting them in series (+ connected to -,+ connected to -),the voltage will be increased;while connecting them in parallel(+ connected to +,- connected to -),the current will be increased ,thereby the total power will be increased and you can charge a high-capacity power station more quickly.When considering series or parallel connections,please check the specification of the solar controller and the power station you are using to ensure they support higher voltage and current to prevent damaging your equipment.When connecting two pieces in series or parallel, the voltage of both pieces must be the same. Please note the cable for series or parallel connection is not included,kindly buy it separately.

Q5: Why is my electronic device charging slowly or not charging?

(1) Please check the environment and weather. Electricity generation maybe reduced or disrupted during cloudy or rainy conditions;(2) Please confirm the solar panel is oriented towards direct sunlight.Adjust its position to ensure sufficient sunlight exposure on the surface;(3) Please check if the output cable is properly plugged in or if there are any defects or loose connections.Try reconnecting the output cable;(4) Please inspect the surface of the folding solar panel for any obstructions and remove them;(5) Please check if your charging device is overheating. Some devices may automatically adjust their charging power or even pause charging based on temperature conditions.
